What's your favourite grape variety/style and why?
Main Post:
The title says it all. For me it's a hard one, I tip back and forth between a few. I am a sucker for sharp, brilliant whites with texture and acid so enjoy Chenin when it's done right and of course Riesling. What's yours?

... good lord this is like naming your favorite child or family member...
if you can answer this question definitively you probably aren't drinking enough wine.
What am I eating? How hot is it outside? How humid is it outside? Am I having a good day or a bad day? What did I eat for breakfast?

We loved everything, but the pork belly dish and the beef stir-fry were our favourites!
Korean variety editing is annoying
Main Post:
Whenever I watch Korean Kpop variety content, the amount of text that comes up onscreen to tell you what is happening is annoying.
The worst part is that the captions that basically tell you what to think. For example, a person will do something funny and laugh, and a caption might come up saying 'This idol is an angel!'. Or do the opposite where they show someone mildly annoyed and write on the bottom 'This idol is seething in anger!' along with an edit of them getting red. Or even useless descriptions that go 'We're finally starting our adventure! What will the members discover about themselves this time!'
Like bruh, I don't need to be told what to think or feel about an idol every second, its distracting as hell. Let them naturally do things without edits trying to give me tunnel vision for some reason.
I was watching Super Junior Korean variety (Super TV), then saw the first episode of their YouTube Original (which was western style, no captions or anything) and wow I felt so free watching the YT Original and seeing people do things without edits shoved in.

As someone who grew up watching Korean variety shows, I guess I just got used to it? The editing is a signature of Korean variety pretty much. Doesn’t really bother me tbh, but I can see why it might be annoying to people. Might also help that I don’t always turn on English captions since I’m proficient in Korean
Do you find the editing in Korean shows annoying?
Main Post:
As kpop stans, most of us have watched Korean shows. In many of these shows there is a lot of editing that is very different than western television. They add a lot of subtitles, images, and sounds that are independent from what was actually filmed, they repeat the same clip two to three times to get the reaction of different people or a different shot, and they edit things to be more dramatic(but that is most television not just in South Korea). Do you ever find this editing annoying? I do not mind the subtitles, images, and sounds added because they are actually pretty funny. But I do feel bad for the translators because of the extra stuff needed to translate. However, the thing that annoys me is when they repeat the same clip three or two times for some reason. I don’t really see the point because repeating it but at different angles doesn’t do much. Also, this type of editing takes up at least 20-30 seconds and for an show that is long, it can take of up 1-8 minutes that could be used to show something else interesting or fun. What do you think about editing. Please don’t make it all about evil editing because most reality shows do that regardless of where it is from or what’s it about.

Honestly, I've gotten used to it now and don't mind it. Though when it's like a really insensitive clip which they're repeating then I get annoyed,
Agree with the other commenter though. It is a staple in east asian media and so I just deal with it.
No Playstyle Variety in Tekken 8. It’s concerning.
Main Post:
I understand the vast majority of videos we have of tekken 8 is mostly CBT so can’t fully judge.
However watching the game, I don’t see any play style variety from players anymore. Every player is trying to play super offensive because they’r enlarge my forced to do by game design.
Even the guys that usually play defensive are play more offensive play style.
In Tekken 7 - You might be able to tell who a player is just by watching the tendencies and play style. I can tell the major difference between Fightinggm, imyourfather for example...
I don’t think that’s going to Be possible with Tekken 8

This is again because you're watching and not playing.
I recently started playing 7 again after playing the 8 tests and older games and I'm sick of how useless sidesteps are compared to older games. 8 has much better sidesteps as well as backdash so defense is very much alive.
